What's the difference between HALO and AURA?
HALO is the more intensive brightening formula, designed for visible discoloration, uneven tone, and dullness. It combines Arbutase with glycolic acid and vitamin C for a more active resurfacing approach. AURA is the gentler brightening formula, designed for skin that is more sensitive, reactive, or new to brightening treatments. It combines Arbutase with kojic dipalmitate, niacinamide, vitamin C, and lactic acid to support a brighter, more even-looking complexion while maintaining skin comfort.
How do I use HALO or AURA?
Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin once daily initially, increasing as tolerated or as directed by your dermatologist. Daily broad-spectrum sunscreen is essential when treating discoloration.
Why is LUMEN prescription-only?
LUMEN contains estriol and is available only to appropriate established patients following medical evaluation. This ensures it's used safely and appropriately for your specific skin needs.
How do I start a LUMEN consultation?
Visit the LUMEN page and select “Current Patient? Request LUMEN” or “New Patient? Book an Appointment,” or call the office directly at (305) 866-2177 to schedule your evaluation.
Are these products safe to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
No. Radiant Shift products should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless specifically directed by your obstetrician or dermatologist. Because several formulas contain active ingredients that may not be appropriate during pregnancy or lactation, we recommend medical guidance before use.
Is it normal to feel tingling, stinging, or itching after applying HALO, AURA, or LUMEN?
A mild tingling, stinging, or slightly itchy sensation can occur after application, particularly with formulas containing exfoliating acids such as lactic acid or glycolic acid. This is often temporary and should settle shortly after application. If you experience intense burning, significant redness, swelling, persistent itching, or irritation that does not improve, discontinue use and contact your dermatologist.
How should I store my Radiant Shift products?
Store your product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Because our formulas contain active ingredients, some natural variation in color may occur over time. Exposure to heat or light may also cause the formula to darken or develop a brownish hue.
A change in color does not necessarily mean the product is no longer effective. However, proper storage helps preserve the formula’s appearance, stability, and performance. If you notice a significant change in color, texture, or odor, please contact us before continuing use.
